Viraj’s expertise lies in technology transfer and commercialisation of intellectual property rights. He has gathered a wealth of international experience in the field through working for reputable organisations in the UK, Australia and Malaysia. Viraj has broad experience within the Triple Helix and as such has successfully managed stakeholders from government, industry and academia. Prior to joining Imperial College London, he held positions as the CEO of UniSA Ventures (Australia), CEO of PlaTCOM Ventures (Malaysia), Senior Consultant (Oxford University Innovation), Business Development Manager (Warwick Innovations) and CEO of Diagnostic Array Systems (Australia). Viraj has a PhD in Applied Biotechnology and a BSc in Microbiology.
