Carla is Industry Partnerships and Commercialisation Executive, Faculty of Natural Sciences.
Carla brings over 7 years of experience in commercialisation and Industry engagement within the Australian and UK HEI. Working strategically with academics, industry partners, funding, and government agencies to achieve research excellence and ensure returns for financial and impact metrics. Carla has proven ability in connecting industry with research institutions across key capability areas to strengthen research outputs and drive innovation. With previous roles at the University of Melbourne’s Research, Innovation and Commercialisation Department, and the Imperial College Clinical Trials Unit, Carla joined Imperial Enterprise in 2022.
