Innovation in engineering with AI and Machine learning | Imperial.Tech.Pitch

What is this event about?

Imperial’s Enterprise Division will demonstrate innovations in artificial intelligence and machine learning with how they can be applied to solve real-world engineering challenges.

A virtual event covering academic expert pitches, an interactive panel with Q&A, networking opportunities.

What will I get from this event?

  • Learn about some of the AI/ML technologies invented at Imperial and how we apply these to solve engineering challenges (such as a new way of wireless video transmission, or control and process optimisation to enable decision making in complex environments with the application for example in technology, energy and biopharmaceutical sectors)
  • Meet leading scientists and engineers and see them present their research and technologies.
  • Engage in a panel discussion chaired by Professor Michael Huth, a leading computing scientist, entrepreneur and Head of Imperial’s Department of Computing. A unique opportunity to exchange ideas with the experts.

Who is this event for?

This event is of interest to the following sectors: computer visions, robotics, industry 4.0, human-machine interfaces and manufacturing. All job levels and roles are welcome.

Delivered by the Industry Partnerships and Commercialisation Engineering team (IPC-FoE) in partnership with Imperial Business Partners (IBP).
