CHORDs – Construction of highly ordered repetitive DNA sequences

CHORDs – Construction of highly ordered repetitive DNA sequences

CHORDS is a dual clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats (CRISPR)/Golden gate assembly method for the construction of repetitive DNA sequences. This enables the construction of repetitive DNA sequences flanked by short (<30 base pairs) variable DNA regions. This strategy makes it possible to assemble and express guide RNA to be used in CRISPR mediated genetic modification.
